The Toscano at The Bread Shed is one of our featured traditional Italian breads because it has a slightly chewy crust with a soft, airy crumb inside and is traditionally made without salt from Image 4 the times when salt was heavily taxed in Italy. The lack of salt and the way Toscano is made provides the bread with a great flavor that comes naturally from the wheat and lends itself to pasta dishes, sandwiches and like most our Italian breads its great toasted, grilled or baked.
The traditional Garlic loaf at The Bread Shed has a nice soft and slightly chewy crust with a tender inside. We roast fresh garlic daily and incorporate it into the dough which translates to a subtle garlic flavor after its baked. It is an excellent table bread and our favorite way to serve our Garlic loaf is to slice it, brush it with a little olive oil, and sprinkle with sea salt, and grill or toast it. Our Ciabatta is a beautiful, chewy, tender flat rustic bread with big shiny holes on the interior. You will be able to taste the rich flavors that develop from the wheat through our unique preparation of the dough. Sicilian Sesame Bread
Our Sicilian Sesame Bread has a dense but delicate crumb with toasted sesame seeds that provide image 7 a deep golden color and well-balanced flavor and unmistakably pleasant flavor. It is made with our Sicilian dough and is then rolled generously in Sesame seeds before baking.
Sicilian (Sliced White Bread)
Also called our Great White!!! The Sicilian is a nice hearty white bread with a surprisingly distinct image 8 flavor. In our Sicilian, we add Durum flour to the traditional white flour. Durum flour is higher protein flour which has a little more flavor and gives the bread a denser crumb. The bread acquires a subtle yellowish tint from the durum flour providing a more unique color.

Our signature bread is without doubt is our multigrain. The Multigrain at The Bread Shed is nice hearty yet soft bread with a nutty robust flavor profile. We carefully toast our grains to optimize flavor and add a hint of molasses to balance everything out.

The Cinnamon Raisin image 12 bread at The Bread Shed has a great full bodied cinnamon flavor throughout the bread with the perfect amount of raisins in each slice. There is a great balance of each quality ingredient creating a very delicious bread!
This mild Rye is the perfect flavor combinations. It makes a great sandwich and is also ideal for toasting. Our rye features a soft crumb and a medium crust.
